This rum is made in the largest distillery in the United States, Louisiana Spirits. With over 250 years of sugar cane growing history in Louisiana, it's no surprise that the Bayou brand chose to locate in the state. Originally, three childhood friends dared to take on the audacious challenge of creating a 100% American rum. Although rum is generally associated with the West Indies or South America, it can certainly be produced in the United States, thanks to a well-established sugar tradition in certain geographic regions.
Discover Bayou Select rum here, which has matured for three years in ex-Bourbon barrels, following the Solera method. This rum, recipient of several gold medals, notably at the World Rum Awards in 2016, is characterized by its aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, apple, as well as notes of oak and Bourbon.
